What it keeps
Almost everything here is a thing with a date that comes round again. Reever keeps the date and the details around it, and tells you before it arrives.
Key contacts
The GP surgery, dentist, vet, insurer, landlord and solicitor. The numbers you need twice a year and can never find.
Utilities
Gas, electricity, water and heating oil: the supplier, the tariff, the unit rate and standing charge, the payment date and when the contract ends.
Vehicles
Tax, MOT, service and insurance. Enter the registration and the tax and MOT status is looked up from DVLA, with the date it was checked.
Home
Council tax, rent, broadband, phone and TV licence, and the property itself: purchase, mortgage and legal costs.
Insurance and breakdown
What each policy covers, when it started, how long it runs and whether it is paid in full or monthly.
Bills
Keep each bill against its supplier: what was charged, what was paid, the balance and the meter readings, so you can see whether a credit is building up.
A reminder before it renews
A fixed tariff that ends, an insurance policy that renews at a higher price, an MOT that lapses: none of them announces itself in time. Reever sends a reminder, by email or as a notification on your phone, before each one, while there is still time to shop around.
Forward a bill, and it is filed
Forward a utility bill from your own email address to your Reever inbox. It is read, and the charges, payment and balance are recorded against the right supplier. Anything that does not add up waits for you to check, every recording can be undone, and the email is deleted once read.
How it behaves
Your data is yours
Reever holds a lot about your household. None of it is sold, and deleting it deletes it.
Quiet by default
It tells you when something is worth being interrupted for, and otherwise stays out of the way.
Honest about what it knows
Anything looked up, such as a car's MOT or tax status, shows when it was checked. DVLA's record is the one that counts.
On your phone
Reever is an app for Android, with an account that keeps your records safe if you change phone.
